How long have you been in business?
Ergoware was founded in June of 1999 and has been selling top brand ergonomic office products since that time.
What is your primary product or service?
At Ergoware, we only sell ergonomic office products from top brand manufacturers such as Humanscale, Workrite Ergonomics, Fox Bay Industries, ESI Ergonomic Solutions, and more. Their products are widely used by Fortune 500 companies, government, and universities to reduce workplace injuries and create a more comfortable ad productive workplace.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The founder of Ergoware had spent 20 years as an IT professional for a Fortune 500 company, and had suffered from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome as a result of the less than ideal workplace setting. After leaving that company he decided to start Ergoware with the goal of helping others achieve a more comfortable and healthier workplace environment.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Ergoware has only partnered with companies that have been proven to be the leaders in the industry, and whose products are widely seen as providing significant return on investment. These are the same brands recommended by many professional ergonomists. While we focus on high quality products, we also provide these at the lowest prices possible via an Internet presence.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have tried different business models such as showrooms and demo office at large businesses or campuses. However, the Internet website has proven to be the ideal medium for highlighting the benefits of these products, and for being able to sell them at competitive prices.

What type of payments do you accept?
Ergoware accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express with no surcharge. Ergoware also accepts money orders, cashier's checks, company checks, & personal checks. For approved corporate accounts standard terms are Net 30, unless otherwise specified.
Which areas do you service?
Since our storefront is virtual we service all areas of of the United States. We also have a lot of customers in Canada. We do not ship product overseas at this point, unless it is to a APO address.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Ergoware is a privately owned company whose owners are highly involved in setting the direction and policies of the company. The operational and customer service aspects of the business are managed by the General Manager.
What are your hours of operation?
As a company with virtual storefront we are always open for business. However, our customer service line is staffed 8:00AM - 4:00PM PST Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment we can get is to hear that our products have helped alleviate pain and provided a more comfortable work environment.
